Fantastic book! An impressive overview of the development of capitalism and the positions of the working classes and women within that development, with an extra eye for related processes in the colonial Americas. A large focus, naturally, is on the development, goals, and effects of the witch-hunts.
Very good book, might (should) make you rather angry.
